As the days are getting shorter, the air is cooling & suddenly it feels like summer is already fading behind us. Just like that, in a few weeks, Autumn will arrive.


For me, this time of year I try to take some time to check in with myself, determine my end of year goals, spend some time inside to catch up on my monotonous to-dos, & let my routines reflect the shift into a cooler season. This year the focus is centered around working intentionally while including mindful practices that help me feel grounded and ready for whatever comes with the change from summer to autumn.

Skincare & Self-Care for Summer to Fall

Beyond the summer rush lifestyle slowing down, your skin is adjusting to the new season too. As it gets cooler, it might need a little extra love... think richer & nourishing oils to wake your skin up and rejuvenate against the crisp fall chill outside.

Experimenting with blending essential oils are one of our favorite ways to support the seasonal change from Summer to Fall. From mixing scents to diffuse around the house to crafting skin-loving concoctions, our creation of homemade blends are a way to shift around some energy, support my skin & bring a little more calm into everyday life.


How can I lift my mood and keep that lingering summer energy alive?

  • Sweet Orange Essential Oil is naturally known to be bright & uplifting, and research shows it can reduce stress & boost your mood. 

  • Rosemary Essential Oil helps improve focus & mental clarity, giving you a little extra energy for the cool days when you need it. 


How can I use oils to focus and settle into the grounded autumn essence? I want to feel grounded and calm.

Try some Patchouli & Cedarwood!

  • Patchouli Essential Oil supports emotional balance & helps calm feelings of stress, making it easier to relax. 

  • Cedarwood Essential Oil has grounding properties that help you feel centered & steady, especially on hectic, busy days. 


It can be as simple as adding a few drops into my diffuser while I work or blend them into a carrier oil to use as a massage oil.

Skincare Cycling with the Seasons 

Using the same facial serum day after day can be wonderful for building a routine your skin recognizes & responds to. Consistency helps your skin feel nurtured & it creates a calming rhythm for your daily self-care.
